Lottie!!

"

Lottie was my first major OC. I made her on a whim while drawing one day, very early in my drawing journey. Her initial character design in a little different from how i've decided to introduce her, but i believe she's better this way. someone who's helped me develop her, and all my other ocs, is none other than my beloved, who has lent me a creative hand more often than i can count. Charlotte was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. she knows her way around the city inside out, and it's also where she met her girlfriend, Jeanie. she found Jeanie lost in the city center, as she had just moved there. Lottie works at the British Columbia University, and was on her way to work one day, when she was stopped by a very confused, and to our hopeless romantic Lottie, a very adorable Jeanette. Charlotte never had much luck at love, having found out about her lesbianism quite early on. she fell in love at first sight. Jeanette, however, perceived Lottie as a little... odd. Charlotte, although a very respected scientist in her field, developped a visibly nervous and slightly desperate look. being depraved of genuine human connection, she craves for it. she wasn't extremely bullied or unloved, but it wasn't quite enough to let her soar high. Lottie is still a functioning member of society, and even though she was odd, she striked most as gentle, loving, and a serious person. her childhood isn't very important to the story, just small incidents here and there that sometimes sneak up on her, but not much to unpack here. Charlotte also plays guitar, and is in a dorky band with a couple of her friends. Lottie is heavily inspired by a mix of Raj, Sheldon, and mainly Leonard from the Big Bang Theory. her music taste largely consists of cheesy love songs, but she also enjoys rock music a lot, her favotite artists overall being the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Frank Sinatra, Taylor Swift, Arctic Monkeys, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, and Mazzy Star.
